Time for Tots

At 10 a.m. on Feb. 13 at the Interpretive Center at Old Santee Canal Park, 900 Stony Landing Rd, Moncks Corner. Movie Day at the Library

From 1-3 p.m. on Feb. 15, the Sangaree Library, 595 Sangaree Pkwy, Summerville, will feature the movie Smallfoot on Movie Day, presented by the Berkeley County Library System. Refreshments will be served. This event is free.

Birding for Beginners

Join an educator from 9 – 10 a.m. on Feb. 16 at Old Santee Canal Park, 900 Stony Landing Rd, Moncks Corner for a guided bird walk. This class is for new birders and will cover all the birding basics, from how to use binoculars to identifying birds by sight and sound. If you are new to the birding world and are interested in learning some basic skills, come join us for a leisurely walk around the swamp as we search for our resident and migratory feathered friends. After a brief introduction, we will cover approximately 1 mile over gravel paths and boardwalk, with some minimal inclines and uneven surfaces. Comfortable walking shoes recommended. See live raptors such as owls, hawks, vultures and other birds of prey. Demonstration will be by the Lowcountry Raptors representatives.

High School Reunion
